Coriander

Beyond its aromatic appeal, coriander offers many health benefits and virtues. Its leaves are used for their medicinal properties. Coriander is an aromatic annual plant that grows all over the world, but originates from the Mediterranean and Western Asia. It is unique in being both a herb and a spice, the latter coming from coriander seeds, dried and used whole or ground into powder.
