Description
Growing abundantly in the wild all around the Mediterranean, rosemary loves chalky soil and does very well in dry, rocky regions. Used for their medicinal properties, the leafy branches of this culinary herb, fresh or dried, are also commonly used to flavour grilled meats, stews, civets, soups and other sauces.
