Description
Baby potatoes ("grenailles") are tubers harvested before they are fully mature. They are called "new potatoes" or "early potatoes" during a specific period: from their harvest (April/May depending on the region) until 31 July. After that they are called "grenailles": everyday potatoes with a size of 28 to 40 mm. Their flesh is particularly melt-in-the-mouth, with sweet notes. As the term "grenaille" only refers to a size, these potatoes can come from different varieties
